Hey, just found this on google as I’m going through the exact same problem. Did you get anywhere with the converter? Happy to join in the effort. I think it’d he huge help for many who want to get out of Arnold and into karma! Got some devs who could lend a hand too.

I was looking into this. Would be very helpful for visual organization of dependency, a way to see all of your object merges at the object level.

Hey all!
I'm just wondering why we can't use these patterns in a vop net. Only older elementary patterns are available like stripes, boxes etc. I'd love to be able to use them in vops. Copy Pasting from mat context gives me an error.
These are all unavailable:
burlap, bricker, gingham, splatter, scales

Hey! felt lucky to find this.
I'm having the same issue but trying to get the orientation from tyflow.
It also comes as a string out of values in the detail, except since its a vector4 how would I loop through every four values and convert them to an vector4 orient attribute?

Hello!
I'm trying to wrap my head around a workflow for scattering in massive environments and being able to art direct multiple scatter setups by seeing something in the openGL viewport that doesn't crawl. The obvious example is a forest of trees. Using copy to points I can set display as: point cloud, but this seems to just hide the objects entirely. This seems like a bug (18.5.462)
The documentation is limited on this feature. I also looked into all the display options, instance / geometry / lods. No luck with changing any of those although I was hoping that there might be something like a point cloud density slider somewhere that I was missing. Anyway, thank you!

Hello!
I'm wondering if some of these great tools can be applied to a non USD workflow. In the OBJ or SOPS context. Specifically, the physics-based transforms with collision detection. Is this inherently something that only works with USD?
